Composite Software Recruits Two Executives for Positions in its Canadian Operations

Composite Software, Inc., the data virtualization leader, recently announced that it has recruited two executives for newly created positions in its Toronto-based Canadian operations. Nickolas Kabits is and Tony Young will serve as sales manager and sales engineer, respectively. In 2009, the Silicon Valley-based company saw double-digit growth in adoption of its industry-leading data virtualization middleware. In Canada specifically, the company reports particularly strong demand from Global 1000 enterprises in the financial services, telecom, pharmaceutical and energy industries.

Version 5.1 of Composite Software's Information Server expands the way servers access and publish data through representational state transfer, according to the company. Information Server 5.1, released on Monday, has built-in integration with Hewlett-Packard Neoview 2.4, Oracle Database 11g and SQL Server 2008. Support for third-party authentication systems, including Java Authentication and Authorization Service, as well as user token authentication plug-ins is also now available.
