Studio uses a traditional data modeling paradigm, whereas Designer is Eclipse-based and can support both contract-first and design-by-example techniques. Automated data service code generators accelerate development by tenfold. And a plethora of data delivery formats including SOAP over HTTP, JMS, POX over HTTP, JSON over HTTP, and REST greatly simplify consumption by end solutions. At runtime, the Composite Information Server optimizes queries and is especially tuned for large data sets and/or high performance use cases. Result sets queried by Composite can leverage an ESB’s messaging and mediation to deliver these results to the consumers in a most efficient manner.
