Composite Software Appoints Siebel Executive as Vice President
of Marketing
SAN MATEO, Calif. - November 22, 2004 -
Composite Software, the leading provider of enterprise information
integration (EII) solutions, today announced the appointment of
software industry veteran Wister Walcott as vice president of
marketing. Walcott brings more than ten years of creating high-results
products, programs, and teams. His responsibilities at Composite
include product management, product marketing, and marketing programs
to support the next phase of the company's growth.

Walcott comes to Composite from Siebel Systems,
a leading provider of business application software, where he
most recently served as executive director of the Employee Relationship
Management (ERM) product line. Walcott launched Siebel's ERM effort,
and in 3 years grew revenues to over $30 million per year. Other
roles at Siebel included general management responsibility for
the Sales and Marketing Automation products, both of which also
grew significantly under his tenure. Walcott is named on two pending
Siebel patents in skills management and activity aggregation.
He was named Siebel's Manager of the Year in 2003.
Siebel Executive Appointed Composite V.P. of Marketing
Prior to Siebel, Walcott served as vice president
of Marketing for Pilot Network Services, where he developed marketing
strategies that led to an IPO and revenues of $30 million. Before
Pilot, Walcott served in various product and business development
positions at Oracle Corporation, during which he successfully
negotiated multi-million dollar OEM contracts with IBM, Apple,
and Novell. Also at Oracle, Walcott managed the world's first
graphical enterprise application development environment, in addition
to building custom applications for Kodak, Aetna, Citibank, and
other large enterprises. Walcott holds MBA and Computer Science
degrees from Harvard.
