Composite Information Server 3.0 Selected As One Of Three Finalists In Analytics and Reporting Categor
San Mateo, Calif. - March 29, 2005 -
Composite Software, the Enterprise Information Integration (EII)
leader, today announced that eWEEK has selected the company's
Composite Information Server 3.0 as one of three finalists in
the Analytics & Reporting category of the Fifth Annual Excellence
Awards. The awards program honors the most innovative and relevant
enterprise hardware, software, and services announced in 2004,
and provides enterprise IT professionals with a comprehensive
assessment of best-in-class product and service innovations. The
finalists were selected from over four hundred entries.
"We are pleased that eWEEK's judges have recognized
the Composite Information Server 3.0 as a best-in-class product,"
said Jim Green, Chairman and CEO of Composite Software. "eWEEK's
stature in the industry and their commitment to undergoing a stringent,
thorough evaluation of products supports the years of work we
have devoted to making CIS 3.0 the best EII product on the market.
Their recognition also reinforces how essential EII is for every
company that needs visibility across different systems, which
is true for almost every enterprise."
The Composite Information Server manages, secures,
and publishes comprehensive, reusable views of key business entities
such as customers, products, or employees for use in dashboards,
reports, or end-user applications. The views combine data in real-time
from a wide range of relational, file, WSDL/XML, and packaged-application
data sources. Composite Software customers include companies such
as Life Time Fitness, Starbucks, Hewlett Packard, EDS and Visa.
Similarly, software leaders Cognos and Informatica have selected
Composite to extend the reporting and data integration capabilities
of their respective products (Editor's note: see Informatica announcement
of March 28, 2005.)
